I don't understand how this movie received 86% on rotten tomatoes. The storyline was meh. Everything looked so fake. Like silicone dummies fake. The acting was mostly good (except for the main character's mother). I recently saw a very gory and brutal foreign movie called "Sadness" so I guess my "gore standards" were super high because of it. If horror and gore movies aren't your thing, I could see how much of this would be shocking. This movie just didn't do it for me, especially after all the hype. To each their own, I suppose.
