First off, this game is basically Madden 20. And 19. And 18. If it wasn't bad enough that you're paying $60 for a rehash, it doesn't even work! This is the buggiest sports game I have ever seen, I'm more surprised when things play right. The Yard is buggy and quite stale after a short amount of time. Franchise is LITERALLY the same as last year. Face of the Franchise is the buggiest mode of all of them and has such a bad story that I would prefer to read something written by a 4th grader. The story is linear and the only choices you make that mean anything are college (which once you make the pros it switches you to being from a random school) and position (which frequently puts you in an archetype you did not choose). If you choose to be drafted to a random team, you are ALWAYS drafted to the Chicago Bears. I simulated all the games I could leading up to the NFL and got the exact same cut scenes, exact same menus, exact same everything. None of it mattered. MUT, EA's cash cow, is worse than last year. They have removed features, solo battles don't work, and pack odds have been lowered across the board. The meta and cheese strats people always abuse are of course still viable and ruin your games if you don't pay for a monster squad. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. If you must play Madden, pick up an earlier year's edition and you'll have a better time for less money.
