* Spoiler below *Great series! Beautifully filmed and acted. Watch to the end and let it play out. That being said, I felt the need to negate some of the negative reviews for people who missed the entire premise of the story. Spoiler - all these people are taking everything they see literally without questioning it from the beginning and wondering why things don’t make sense. The point is that you should not do that! I think it’s simply too cerebral for some people, which is sad but in these days hardly surprising. It’s an extreme version of Rashomon, split into two volumes, one from the keyboard of a mother who elevated her son to the place of a saintly martyr- but without being a witness, only had a setting, an ending, and illustrations with which to flesh out her story. I am blown away that this concept of motherly delusion and the gullibility of people was lost on people, as that is the key premise of the story!
