I am coming from watching the movie just right now, on telivision, and I only have melancholic feelings and sorrow.
Let's discuss why I like big production movies and why this movie was absolutely amazing for me.
The cinematography of this movie was excellent and beyond what many editors do. It's not rare, but quite uncommon and out of date as I see in many movies now.
What was so special?
The full movie my friends, was in hues of red and green, green mostly, but the hue was all red and green. But on certain scenes, like when Andrew said I love you to tom and Tobey, the hue was quite warm. The green and red was there all movie, but when Peter (tom) went to MJ and Ned, it finally gained colours. All colours in a perfect hue. And when Peter said " no " to mj's " anything else? " , it all went cold.
I'm sure you all understand what that meant right?
Let's talk about the movie setting.
Ofcourse it was our gen z Peter's world, but the movie was shot and made absolutely like millennial Spiderman. From the greens to the apartments, especially the cafe in the end, it was all the original Spiderman movie like.
The movie (plot) on the other hand was especially chaotic like Andrew's Spiderman. Everyone thing had a foreshadowing in there. And the chaos was huge, like " dude was killed and tortured and &£&##_#& " and next they're like "oh ok, next?"
Can we talk about the acting?
So good! They portrayed the way how all Peter are same yet so different so good!! Especially in the body language! The eyes don't lie, and their didn't. Maybe they felt exactly what they were acting as, you know, finally finding someone who's just like you!
Last, the script writer deserves ever money, every recognition and every praise they get, though I don't know who's the actual script writer for this movie, I'll Google them right now.
They managed to portray the generation gap in all the peters so well, and their dialogues matched the generation they are from so well.
I don't imagine anyone speaking things tobey's peter says except for the older generation. Like he's so awkward and so pacifying personality.
All around, I'm heartbroken for all of the peters, good job.
