I really want to like this show but couldn't get past the second episode. The writers are either deliberately leaving out commonly used equipment because they're too lazy to write actual drama, or they know nothing about the subject. Either way, it's painful to watch them walk through a giant steel door into a massive airlock and go for an EVA without any of the equipment an astronaut today would bring. Hey ... if you left the MMU's behind for weight ... I ... um ... I think I see a few less important places you could have shaved it ...
