The problem about this movie is that if I would’ve watched it as a younger girl I would’ve seen nothing wrong with it. A “feel good” witty comedy about true love and romance! But I watched as an older teenager and I see all the disgusting things being pushed forwards women especially. First of all if a woman says no it’s no, it doesn’t matter the age, it doesn’t matter the relationship, it doesn’t matter the feelings. Allowing behavior from that freaking kid made me so mad- she SAID NO- pardoning that type of behavior is what excuses rape and sexual assault among men. I feel like this movie had way to much “boys will be boys” energy and that’s just not it. Second of all, the girl GAVE PORN TO A MINOR?? Did no one see anything wrong with that?- no cuz it’s a “wItTy” movie. Third of all, the wife had cheated ON HIM and then expects him to not move on? She WANTED a divorce- and then expects him to read her mind? Why are straight white couples like this? They couldn’t have talked it out? It just makes me so mad. Overall I’m only giving this movie two stars bc I love Emma stone.
