I’m sorry but this movie was horrible. It was goofy and corny and clearly made for the comic book eight-year-old. The first “Lois and Superman” interview was way too long and ridiculous. While Lex Luthor‘s character was very interesting and well played, the fact that he somehow secretly created all of this bizarre technical advances without any oversight is completely unbelievable. It’s like he’s a god. He just waves his fingers and things happen. I’m sorry that’s an unbelievable character and plot point. The whole “I’ve studied all his moves and I’ve devised a way to beat him” and then calling out letters and numbers like you’re playing battleship was hokey and laughable. Then you have to “dumb down” Superman’s abilities in order to make that work. Ridiculous. Ex. Near then Superman is battling his clone. The clone shoots his laser eyes into Superman’s eyes (oh no). Why didn’t Superman just shoot HIS Laser eyes back? We’ve see that before. The laser’s meet in the middle in a ball of fury. Stupid.

The acting was all over the place. The fights were lame, like low-budget independent lame. He ripped off so many other movies trying to be the next big thing. Star Wars, Magnificent 7, The Matrix. Ugh. And the slow motion thing is getting tedious. It was entertaining enough since I finished it and will watch part two. But, Zack, he ain’t all that.
