The Ark is offensive to the eyes, ears and brain. It regurgitates many scifi classics albeit extremely badly. If you want a show packed with superficial and clichéd characters, this is the show for you. For example nerdy boffins all wear thick framed glasses and are awkward. I could not stop laughing with the first scene of the Serbian charector included wearing a head scarf as if in USSR. Oh and guess what, there's a superficial snarky blonde who develops and softer, kinder side. Was the crew advert "Calling all stereotypes, clichés and 20 somethings that act like 15 year olds" If you are even remotely a fan of scif, I recommend you watch anything else.

Its slow with........long.......periods........of nothing. I had to stop watching halfway through the series, the amount of scenes with a single person staring into the distance in anguish became too much.
