It started out strong but as time goes on it just becomes clear that the main character is an idiot who doesn't learn from anything that's happening around her, and the "horror" is incredibly superficial. There's no compelling reason for the actions of the so-called villain, no logical reasoning behind the main character's fear, no variety of feelings from the pregnant teens about their babies. Their reactions become one-note and my interest in finishing the book wanes. There was such opportunity for things to be interesting and potentially subversive but it's just not landing.
