I enjoyed this book. Thomas's knowledge of mountain climbing in snow is excellent and the story is exciting and creepy. Different enough from Hex to not be comparable. I loved it though.

Atmospheric, creepy, amusing... I love Thomas's stories! No problems with the translation for me, although I'd rather have iffy translation than no translation at all.

I read this decades ago and the ending STILL haunts me. You'll wonder how what happens CAN happen, you'll shake your head in annoyance, and by the end you'll want to commit murder! This is psychological horror at its terrifying best!
