As a Baby Boomer, who greew up on Westerns, I find it hard that this was even called a Western. It has very little of the storyline that makes it a "true' Western except that it took place at the right time i history. The use of Taylor Sheridan's name when promoting the show to all us "Yellowstone" fans, was at least deceptive since there is absolutely no comparison or similarities. The writer should sit back some sfternoon and watch a few episodes of Wagon Train, Rawhide, Cheyenne, and a few John Wayne movies before attempting to delve into Westerns again. I felt I wasted the time it took to watch this series.
