I’d give it 1/5 stars if that was an option.
First things first I really pity Nicolas Cage.
He must be the first reason for anyone who wants to avoid watching this movie.
His acting was so bad that he actually made me laugh in the second half of the movie.
The plot twist was very predictable, and the movie left me with more questions and answers.
I guess this may have worked as a TV series, where the director could’ve made a deeper connection between Lee, Longlegs and the mother. Alas, a desire for some quick buck made them decide to turn this story into a movie.
They’ve hired a great cameraman. 5 stars to them for the beautiful visuals.
The rest was a third grade horror movie with cheap jump-scares.
Just can’t stop thinking what a better movie this could’ve become had they cast someone (anyone) other than Cage.
