I used this show on PBS until I got a pilates reformer. A number of years have gone by and the reformer is now broken. After tries of other of programmes, none of which worked for me, I decided to go back to Sit and be Fit. Here's what I found after many years' absence.
My post-reformer body is nearly 10 years older and has lost its reformer gains. In just a little more than a week back with Mary Ann, I can already feel my body's positive response without any pain to this programme. The gentle movements, along with Mary Ann's soothing voice and encouragement, have kept me coming back every morning at 5:30 a.m. to my local PBS station(Buffalo/Toronto) for a wonderful and positive start to my day.
I'm 77 but am already starting to feel younger thanks to this positive start to the day, particularly at a time such as now where we're all experiencing difficulties and positivity can be hard to come by.
And I thank Mary Ann, Gretchen and the other experts who appear for their contribution to this feeling!
