Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this book. I found after the first few chapters I was captivated and invested. I love the humor of the main character and like seeing the different perspectives of characters. I found character development good. Ending seemed a bit rushed and I would've liked if this book explored more of the end aftermath as it seemsd to drag a little bit in the middle. I guess we will see what happens in the second book. I loved the fl and at times like aspects of the ml. But I found them to gaslight at times and by the end it felt a little creepy. I feel like they didn't treat her really well even though they're "protecting" her and I am not sure how I feel about the end relationship result. I haven't read pretty much all year since my baby was born but devoured this book in less that a week, while still managing to mama a toodler and work a full time teaching job.
