Being a fan of black flag, I cannot really recommend. This game seems to be very few steps behind black flag. Ship battles don't seem realistic, pretty much a checkbox exercise. No ground fighting. Gathering resources is boring. The mechanic that you can get attacked every time every moment really doesn't make the game enjoyable, but it gives the feeling of an action shooter. Not my cup of tea for sure
