I like most other people seemed to get totally engrossed in this novel with its complex but feasible plot. However, I thought the ending absurd! This little girls face had been on the front pages of newspapers, on tv on social media for weeks and she would have been recognised immediately on the ferry. Such a stupid finale to a really good thriller. Totally unbelievable
