Teasing players with content such as metal barriers or rope arrow obstacles that one can not get past in early maps without having to progress further in the story to get those items is absolutely ridiculous. Once i got so far into the story i didn't care about going back for the few knickknacks that i missed. Upon completing the game, the sense of accomplishment of going back would be way lessened also. The levels of the game should get progressively harder, need more tools, tools that you acquire on that map to learn how to use and need in further levels. This current setup leaves me no desire to go back and replay old maps. Lame.
