Really disappointed tonight. Carrie’s patronising and ‘off hand ‘ remark to the 18 year old who spoke passionately about todays court ruling (regarding Minister does not have a duty of care to younger persons), was shocking. The future is not in the hands of these young people, their influence was disregarded by the existing government and court system. And where was a government representative to give an explanation as to why they appealed the original decision? The young girl expressed herself well and I was I impressed, but the panel’s questions and approach was shallow.
