I don't even know where to start. It is what it says or is, it's a game show. The over production is unreal. There's a scene (spoiler) where the "survivalists" take over the production crew's equipment to look at video footage of their camp. This is 'Truman Show' taking on 'Alone'. If this was a self aware mock of reality survival shows, that would be cool. But this seems to take itself very seriously. And note the executive producer credit to Jason Bateman. Halfway expected Teen Wolf Too to come running out of the woods howling at some point.
