To say this film is life-changing is an understatement. Having walked into the cinema a mere boy, an infant, I left a man, with an understanding of the universe, and my place in it.
The main character is of course Morbius, played by the brilliant Jared Leto. Throughout the film, his character development and changing in mindset mirror the journeys of Sigmas past, such as Patrick Bateman, and even some real-life heroes like Andrew Tate. His character embodies our own ideas of perfection in a human being, and as we watch his journey unfold, we can reflect on our own paths through life.
The genius behind this piece of art lies in the comment it makes on our own struggles as humans, and how when Morbius sheds aside his own flaws to become something more than human, he is able to tranascend this struggle to become an inspiration to us all.
5 stars seem like an insult to this movie. So Morbrilliant it is, no scaling system could ever put it into any arbitrary numbers. It left my timbers truly shivered, and had me sobbing tears of joy.
Thank you, Sony, for giving us the movie that defines a generation.
