I had high hopes for this movie because Millie Bobby Brown’s work and the movies she’s produced have been great so far. But this movie was SO disappointing. The plot was super cliche, the accents were not accurate and the acting wasn’t either . The fact that Elodie would befriend the dragon that killed her father a few hours before—and wasn’t even grieving—made absolutely NO sense. Also why did almost all of her clothes get ripped off?? She was literally fighting a dragon with zero armor. The cinematography was okay and I did like some of the costumes but overall it was just really rushed and poorly written.
