Wanted to love this TV show, and the good photography, nice suburban settings and decent acting of Episode 1 held my hopes high… yet the storyline logic is so twisted that after 10 mins the only thought your brain processes is: “how is that even possible?”. From zombies that start running like Olympic athletes after having been run over by a car and suffered multiple fractures, to humans that never seems to question what is the best way to kill a zombie “aim at the brain you moron!”, to questionable ambushes in the middle of the snow among heavily armed groups in the open, where nobody seems to take cover. And what is the point of ambushing somebody in the wood, trying to kill him, when you know that he will turn and most likely will try to kill you? If these people are trying to survive, what is the whole point of the ambush? And how come you are in a school where all doors have been locked, are trying desperately to escape, yet don’t think about breaking a window, which the said school is full of? Unfortunately, throughout the two series, that thought never goes away, making what should be a leisure escape in a fantasy world impossible… “how is that even possible?”
