While this film is a very powerful think piece about how quickly everything can be taken from you just from a few bad situations/choices this movie is also almost 2 hours long and there’s resolve. It leaves you feeling hopeless and helpless. A reminder that without community to catch you when you fall it’s inevitable you’ll slip through the cracks. When you finally get to the point in the film where you’re reeling the main character to get some sort of relief the plot twist of the film hits you like a freight train and somehow leave you feeling even more helpless

This movie was weird and goofy to say the least. While it made a solid attempt at shedding a light on postpartum and all the weight that comes with becoming a mom, she just did an horrible job and communicating with her partner and blamed everything on him and the child instead of taking responsibility for herself and the dog thing was just…what?
