Lauren Collins

It treads the line of comedy and legitimately good sci Fi/homage very well. It reminds me of how Galaxy Quest equally surprisingly impressed. Although I've noticed it's evolved into more sci Fi and toned down the comedy as the seasons have progressed, but that still doesn't dampen my interest in watching.

As a natural cynic I approached this film with some scepticism, thinking it would be annoyingly twee and self consciously quirky. I found that it successfully avoided that, and was a very sweet/bittersweet tale.
