I’m sorry but DC is trying too hard to be like Marvel with the comedic superhero cinematic themes. DC has always been dark and I understand Superman is probably DC’s lightest character but that’s because of the cinematic versions. Dark Knight did well because it felt real, character development was the focus rather than comedy and jokes. Henry Cavill was great as Superman. The new guy seems more like he fits a Spider-man or Flash type of role. It’s worth watching as a fan of Supes but It’s a one time viewing for me. Movie was too corny and predictable.
