Not my cup of tea.
I felt bad about disliking it but I have always struggled with stories in which the main characters are so unlikable. The flowery prose became oppressive the gothic teenage angst way overdone and unbelievable.
I struggled through it to an ending that I had predicted. In my opinion the tragedy was in characters so isolated, shallow and/or unloved that their lives weren’t missed much by others (that probably makes no sense but if you read it you might).
