Ariel but better

Literally one of the worst movies I have ever seen. First off the characters are all 16-17 when they are supposed to be 12. The whole plot of the book series was Percy's adventures from ages 12-16 and to fulfill a prophecy that may destroy or save the world and making them 16-17 makes this children book series a teen movie. Over the plot was so stupid and pointless that it didn't even go with the plot of the movie. There were also some parts that made me uncomfortable such as the Persephone and Grover scene and the Lotus Casino scene. I mean the beginning was kind of good just for setting up the story and the way that the Camp Half-blood letters change is cool I guess. Also the way the characters were set up was weird. Percy was supposed to like Annabeth in an intimating way because he was scared of her but they only made it that its not children appropriate. Luke's character was not supposed to be some cool teenager which everyone liked. Over all just the movie was terrible and I would give it a half of a star but I can't so I gave it a one. Worst 1 hour and 59 minutes of my life.
