it really seems like this movie was encouraging a**h*** behavior, no matter how much you try to make them good character it doesnt change the fact that a**h*** will be a**h***s, besides this is about a natural disaster, nobody cares about the relationships to be in it, if u want a relationship in it that there is nothing better then a family situation, it impacts more emotions, so focus on the disasters thats what ppl are here for
