It took a few episodes, but the series definitely gets better. Lance Reddick does an amazing job of playing a (much less insane) Wesker. I actually found myself more interested in the past story of him and his daughters than the modern story following Jade. Either way, I like the Resident Evil games and found some of the movies kind of lame. This show on the other hand peaked my interest and I can't wait for season 2 (if they renew it). It's getting a lot of undeserved hate.
