I am willing to give this a chance but there is one fatal flaw. So many contemporary shows/films are filmed in extreme low light, to the point that the image is not visible except in a totally darkened room. Who watches TV in total darkness? What is the point of filming something that is not readily visible? I think is is a combination of disdain for the viewing audience and artistic arrogance. In the 1950s, filmmakers used filters to simulate darkness and it was incredible hokey and not realistic, but at least we could see the images. The pendulum has swung too far the other way and unless those who produce these shows learn that their low light filming is not viewer friendly, there is a good chance that we will not watch.
