This was so painful to watch. Historically inaccurate like the "German" ambassador and "English" ambassador in 1790 (Germany did not exist until 1871, and England did not have independent ambassadors since it was already "Britain"). Horrible trite writing full of anachronisms and sloppy editing. Oh, Helen Mirren, why oh why did you do this? The two stars are for the sets and costumes which were spectacular.
