Opeth's Last Will & Testament is a fantastic album. Having followed this band for many years was eagerly awaiting this release and was surprised at this different direction again. I have really enjoyed all of Opeth's works thus far and being I grew up in the 70's have enjoyed the transition to Prog that the band have taken. IMO this album will most suit fans that embraced the change to later Prog style Opeth however there is definately a heaviness in moments that rival BWP & GR albums. For me this is my "Ultimate Opeth" combination of sound, with a great mix of old and new plus something new. Once I have started this album, it flows so well together as one entity that I find it hard to stop until entire album is finished. I really enjoy all the emotions this album brings, it's dark, it's light, it's quirky and absolutely love this album 🤘Can't wait to see Opeth live in 2025!

How is this not rated as yet????? This music wakes the brain....disorganized/organized chaos. This album highlights all the great sounds an 8-string guitar can make (no bass needed) however very deep lows. Drumming is technical and awesome. No singing....no lyrics....not required.....let the music do the talking.....awesome! .....check out the other albums from this great band

This album is fantastic and deserves more reviews. I enjoy this album equally as much as my other two favourites by Placebo, WYIN & SWG. This album touches more on the mellow/electronica side of the band's sound which suits me well these days, however there is still enough rock to keep me happy. I highly recommend to play the album in full 2 or 3 times, and you will already start to remember the catchy hooks of these great songs. BM's voice still sounds like yesterday....very unique and awesome. Can't get these songs out of my head......in a good way
