Ryan Loechl

Pretty much a throwaway popcorn flick. Characters are kind of lame. Zero chemistry between the leads. The motivation behind Glen Powells character is a total mystery. The good storm chasers vs bad storm chaser conflict served very little narrative purpose, was never really resolved and left the good guy's do-gooder activities feeling contrived and virtue-signally. Like feeling offended on behalf of someone else. Finally, the romantic element was also never resolved. Like, what is the relationship between these two exactly? Kind of ick to be honest. Like watching two married coworkers flirt. But the twister action was good ill give it that. Fun to hate-watch.

If I wasn't already so cynical, I'd be dumbfounded that anyone gave this movie 5 stars.
