Beautiful film especially as every scene is so well acted (and therefore directed) . Spoiler alert - you know that the wife is going to have to find what she set out to so there is not going to be a reconciliation in the traditional sense - yet what the story does offer is an honest alternative that is perhaps even more satisfying. And as always one brings a bit of oneself to a movie - in this case ones own feelings as a parent make you fearful of stubbing your emotional toes - which adds a huge element of hopeful anticipation to the watching. Also a high five to the director for bringing out what a woman wants, very insightful for me personally.
