As a Vietnam Veteran and in the 101st Airborne, 158th Aviation Bn, Company D Gunship Company, this documentary was hard to watch but I could not pull myself away from it. My company flew missions for the Hill 937, my brother in laws brother and his best friend were combat medics in the 101st Airborne and were on the ground at Hill 937. We lost friends, myself there were pilots and crew members. My combat medic friends lost more and also worked on casualties. None of us questioned what we were doing as our fathers, uncles and grand fathers all went to war for our country, it was our duty and honor to do so. Even today I do not regret my service and time in Vietnam or in the Army. I was not prepared to face many of the people who were against the war. This story is one best documentaries I've watched and I wish it was available to the public on a DVD set so I could share it with my kids and grandkid's so they will know the truth about this war. The biggest regret is how our government leads would not back its military and let us when the war. I will never forgive those in the Government for that. 50 some years later I am still paying my dues, I suffer from PTSD which I get treatment weekly and thanks to Agent Orange I suffer heart disease. Still I believe our nation needs to learn about this conflict truthfully and this documentary does that. It should be shown in History Classes in schools.
