I have watched Saturday Night Live from its beginnings in the 1980s. I am usually a fan, but as a Latvian-American I take exception to characterizing Egils Levits as a loser, Levits is a decent, intelligent man--a lawyer by training. He was a dissident during soviet times and was sent into exile over his opposition. I am glad that Latvia finally has a leader who has wide respect. He is head and shoulders above many world leaders. Latvia may be small, but we have a leader whom we can be proud of! Certainly no loser. Latvian-American
