Like others I grew up with the original and Tom Selleck will always be Magnum to me. However the new actor is good in the role and I could get used to him. Higgins is another matter however, as the relationship in the original was really good fun and it just feels like something is missing in the new version. I think it's s good show, and for the younger generation who are new to this show they will enjoy it. I however will continue to enjoy the original whenever it comes on, along with Quincy replays and Columbo :-). I am a fan of the updated Hawaii Five 0, so not totally adverse to reboots.
