Plot was thrown in as an after thought.
Super unrealistic. Id consider it a fantasy novel. Zade "stalks her like he would his victims" but his victims, he schmoozes and gets to know up close and personal.
Author has no idea how child trafficking and slavery investigations go..
Writing is all around terrible.
Smut was okay. Mind your triggers.
End of book 1 is a cliff hanger and I have no desire to see how it ends in book 2.
