My favourite afrobeat album of the year so far and one of my favourites all genres included. I did not expect this sound from Rema at all, it's such a sharp turn from his previous album and I initially wasn't sure of it because of the huge shift in sound but after 2 weeks of digesting it I've realised how great it is and I can't get enough. It is so unique compared to the sounds that are currently dominating the Afro music scene with many of the songs having the quick tempo of early 2010s afrobeats infused with very unorthodox and daunting sounds in the instrumentals topped with infectious and bravado-filled vocal flows. It's very interesting and refreshing to listen to. Please keep testing your creativity Rema, I'll definitely be here to listen.
