Don't listen to the bad reviews. It is not like the first game for starters. This game delves deep into dark issues like ptsd. There is no clear line between good and bad. In my opinion I think it is vastly superior to the first game. I got lost in the story and even simple exploration was fun because of the small interactions. I find that it shines a light though on the grey areas of the human condition. The gameplay was intense at times but really fun. The characters are so human they feel real and the visuals are stunning. I'm assuming people are angry because it is not a traditional happy ending. It will leave you thinking about a lot of emotions and lessons it threw at you throughout the game. I highly recommend it though. I have never played such a humanizing game before.
