This heart-wrenching series was one of the best ABC has produced and accurately addresses the story of Emmett Till and his mother, Mamie Till Mobley. Pairing it with the the historic images that followed each episode, validated the truth of racism, that is not confined to 1955, and the powerful contribution a grieving mother made to enliven the Civil Rights movement. Yes, it was difficult to watch, but the series should be a continuing part of the kind of education that promotes truth over the generational social mores that allowed such horrific and tragic events to unfold. This is a must see! Hopefully the network will air it again! The story must be told to bring more change!
