Fallon O’Hagan

Okay, so I’m still two episodes behind on the second season, but I simply cannot wait to rave about this show. First off, I feel I should say that I am the sibling of two adult brothers on the spectrum, and I have an 8 year old daughter with very severe autism. Never in my life have I had a show where I could be in the middle of crying so much I have to sit up to be able to breathe out of my nose, and then within a moment, I can be laughing SO hard that my stomach hurts and I’m crying even more tears. I think the way they touch upon her bf/husband is just so organic, and sweet, and hilarious. I love, love, love that whole aspect of the show. Her friend Maya is HILARIOUS. This show is like an all star cast of almost every great comic in the game. Even small, peripheral characters. Every single person is funny. There are so many sweet moments, and so many silent but hysterical Amy Schumer faces and reactions to things. I know a lot of people don’t like her for some odd reason, but I think she is fantastic, and she clearly has the respect of sole heavy hitter comics, so clearly she is a cool/funny person. People need to really put any thought of: “Oh I can’t stand her” out of their heads, because she is fantastic, and so is this show!!!! Michael Cera is SO good, her friend that works at the pharmacy? GOLD. Even the people you think you don’t like right away become likable. DEFINITELY give this show a shot. I hope you make it to the 2nd season, because it is REALLY friggen good.
