Frank Darabont did a fantastic job directing and writing this film. Rodger Deakins's cinematography is so beautiful and fantastic. Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman, Bob Gunton, William Sadler, Clancy Brown, Gil Bellows, James Whitmore for their fantastic acting. The rest of the team also did a wonderful job in the film as well. Lastly, Thank you, Stephen King, for having a wonderful short story to be adapted to an unforgettable masterpiece! 10/10!

What a way to end a career Richard Farnsworth! Its unfortunate that your not here right now, but no lives forever. I love the story, directing, music, acting, and the message of staying in touch with your family, don't hate each other, and live the best life that you can and enjoy it! What a great film! It was sad, funny, emotional, and have a great sense of humanity! This film did something extremely risky and it paid off at the end. I had to be honest i cried during the film because i cared about the characters and the story that it tells! Lastly all of the cast and crew did an amazing job with this film! One of the greatest war films I have ever seen!

The movie as a whole is perfectly average. However, the screenwriters did not do a good enough job of balancing all of the characters' screen time as harry and James has more screen time than the other two main characters. The editing of the film is pretty bad as there are a lot of unnecessary quick cuts and the cuts that feel very awkward and out of place. The directing is fine, but I wish the director pushed there actors on giving them better performances, as the performances feel stiffed and emotionless. Overall the film was OK, but it was pretty disappointing and expected much more.

Its a crime that the film was cut to a shorter version to make a mess, and ultimately ruined the state of mind of Sergio Leone! The Extended version is the one you should experience as it is a symbolism of regret, love, loss of innocence, and the human spirit. Even though I love Good Fellas (which also stars Robert De Nero), Once Upon a Time in America touch my heart, like no other crime film does, a true Masterpiece! The score from Ennio Morircone is magnificent as well, its sad that both of these wonderful artist are gone, but there legacy will forever live on!

Didn't enjoy this film, I understand the motivation from john wick, but still his characterization was cold hearted, and found the actions from him to be unnecessary and dull. I did enjoy the action scenes and love the cinematography, but if the script is not well written, then the effort of filming those scenes are wasted. Overall the film is an absolute mess and disappointing. However the next two sequels are much better and enjoyable!
