It was a most interesting little film.The actors are exceptionally well cast . I loved the settings especially of London as it was exactly as I remember it growing up after the war with rations on everything. Well done everyone!

I thought Glenn Close was so good at playing the dutiful wife until she just realized what she had done for her husband’s career all through their marriage. Was he naive or selfish with his wife? She finally decides to face the truth about their talents. Close deserves the academy’s best actress award in this role.
