I was a sophmore in High School. How lucky was a 17 year old to be able to view a movie of this extordinary Brilliance. Not only was this a glimpse into our future, but a view of our past and where we were in 1968. The musical score was so well done, it enhanced the movie to new heights. There was pause for thought about one's future after viewing this movie. The following year July, 21 1969 is when man walked on the moon...I was reflecting back to this movie and wondering if there was an obelisk or Monolith that would give Those astronauts an epic view of our future as humans on earth. This movie made a lasting impression on me in so many ways.
