Beyond the usual ‘the book is better’ rhetoric, trying to base the movie on itself I found it lacking. This story was in my opinion darker than the pg-13 rating allowed so it felt weirdly censored. My biggest gripe is how rushed it all is. Which can be hard to maneuver with an age gap spanning 6, to I think 23 if I remember correctly. But I just couldn’t get really immersed in the characters because it was built up too fast. Acting was good, not great. It was just an ok movie overall. Really should read the book though, no comparison.

Felt rushed, borderline a musical, poorly scored for what should have been intense moments, rough casting with some weird diversity picks, and major plot holes that left you guessing. Oh and some major in your face references to the hunger games movies I think hoping to placate audiences to overlook the movies shortcomings.

Amazing game. I can’t put it down and I’m thrilled it it lived up to the hype. Graphics are fantastic, great engaging storyline, side quests galore. All around amazing game, and I loved delving deeper into Harry Potter universe. Thanks JK Rowling for the universe and the game devs for the game itself.
