This action movie tried hard to be different but depsite all of its Indian culture and imagery, turns out just to be a shoddily made action flick at its core. Filmed entirely in the dark, it seems daylight doesn't exist in Mumbai or wherever this was supposed to be. Greasy-haired Dev Patel in constant state of sweatiness should've died of sepsis when he was shot and fell into that nasty-ass polluted river; but no, he comes back stronger than ever. Action scenes employed the shakiest of cameras and swooping motion to denote excitement and danger but only made it annoying to watch. Ridiculous car chase scenes in which the police is incapable of making u-turns and simply just disappear. All characters are walking cliches of every Indian charaters you've seen in movies before. Just a shyte movie.

It's a meh of a movie that rehashes previous Alien storylines and scenes, even right down to Ridley's grey tank top, and adds nothing new to the franchise. There's very little character development as the victims do inexplicably stupid victim things you'd find in a slasher movie. Of course there has to be an android bleeding white liquid that's not to be trusted just like in the other movies in the series. The little scorpion crab things were much more scary than the actual aliens but the movie didn't do much with them. The aliens now seem to have sported chrome grills for some reason. By the end of the movie, I was wishing everyone would die so we can put a final nail into the coffin of this franchise.

An imperfect crime drama with good pacing and (some) character development that kept you interested. The Japanese crew was great but the Londow crew with the caricature of a English mobster, "deadly" British assassin that never killed anyone, extraneous American character with a punchable face and serious overacting, is simply not good. Thank God for the lead actor (Kenzo), the marvelous Kelly MacDonald, and the actress playing the young daughter to save the series. There are many lazy bits in here that are so annoying: using shelves of bottles to hide against bullets, outside daytime scenes cut right into indoor night time and then back to daylight once we get outside again, the gay "fixer" who happens to speak fluent Japanese, etc etc

Meh. Same old tired cowboy movie tropes and cliches. Jeff Daniel’s hamming it up but everyone else are just the same old tired characters reciting the same old tired lines in heavy southern drawl even though it’s set in Colorado. There’s the fast gunslinging deadeye bandit with a heart of gold. There’s a pretty widow who’s strong and independent but not THAT strong and independent since she needed a man’s help to tame her horses, there a bumbling sheriff, there’s a tough but fair marshal lawman, there’s a mining company taking advantage of the townspeople, etc etc all the characters you’ve seen in every western movie that came before are conveniently here.
