Ace In Space

As someone who’s read the book, it is nice to see a new version of someone else’s idea of what it would look like. However, beautiful effects aside, the characters are well casted and this has nothing to do with the actors themselves. I want to know is why they made the Lady Jessica, a character that is well known in the Dune universe as a user of the voice, into a blubbering woman? She’s a strong independent character in the books who doesn’t show much emotion even when alone, and that’s due to the training she received as a child. She also informed Paul of the breeding plan in the movie when she doesn’t even really mention it in the book? This Movie feels like someone who skimmed through the book and then decided to write a script. If you want a more accurate movie or series I would recommend the 1984 movie and the sy-fy channels mini series.
