This is the best children's movie of all time. It is so profound and philosophical while being relatable and entertaining. I honestly wish I was able to grow up with this movie, it is genuinely just so great. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone reading this to watch Soul with your family or friends.

I'd like to preface this review by stating that this is a good film and I enjoyed watching it. However, I do not feel as if I understand the raving reviews of it. I personally found the choice of a cliffhanger ending to be a bit odd, seeing as there isn't an intent to make a sequel to the movie. I would also like to add that the movie is VASTLY different from the book. I have also heard a lot of comparison of this movie to Persepolis, which I personally enjoyed reading and watching more than The Breadwinner. All in all, you will probably still enjoy this movie plenty, but if you are looking for a story of feminism in an authoritarian Islamic regime, I would have to recommend Persepolis over The Breadwinner.

This is an amazing film. One of the very few in my life to provoke genuine emotion within me; the funny parts were so very, very funny, and the sad parts were so very, very sad. I'd gleefully recommend this movie to anyone reading this review.
