I think it was done well. I wish they had done some more scenes of popular/famous moments in history regarding Senior's life. They should have started earlier and portrayed the homeless black man who supposedly taught Hank a lot about music in Montgomery (Rufus I think); and the time when Minnie Pearl tried to cheer him up to sing "I Saw the Light" together, and as the story goes, Hank said 'Minnie, there ain't no light" or maybe "no more light". I also wish that when they showed Rcokin' Randell in the crib, the baby would have said "I can tell you right now, I was born to boogie."
